Nils Tekampe holds a degree in CS and is specialized in the functionality and security of biometric mechanisms as well as in security evaluations of complex devices.

Nils worked as a security consultant and product manager for the evaluation body for IT security of TÜV Informationstechnik in Essen, Germany. He collected extensive experiences in various schemes for evaluations and certifications. Nils acted as the editor of more than 10 Protection Profiles, has been a member of ISO/IEC SC27 and SC37 since then and managed projects with multiple person years of resources.

In 2017 Nils founded konfidas GmbH and continues to support national and international customers in the development of secure products, specifically in regulated markets and in the context of certifications.
