Simon Ulmer is a technology business executive currently Group VP and Head of Digital ID Cyberproducts at Eviden, an Atos company. With his world class team, Simon enables trust through identity-first security, unlocking the value of secure digital processes for organizations worldwide. Simon joined Atos in 2017 and has held several key positions including Head of the Global Alliance with Siemens and Industry CTO. He is part of the Atos Scientific Community. Previously he was Counselor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of France in Berlin where he shaped the Franco-German partnership on digital transformation, startups, and competitiveness. A graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure in molecular quantum mechanics and Ecole des Mines de Paris in business and public administration, he holds the rank of Ingénieur en Chef in the Corps des Mines. Simon is fluent in English, French, and German, and has intermediate proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

Automatisierung und Lifecycle Management in diesem Bereich spielen eine zentrale Rolle in der Gestaltung der IT der Zukunft. Der Boom des Internet of Things sorgt dafür, dass diese Erkenntnis immer mehr auch im Bereich Operational Technology (OT) umgesetzt werden muss. Zudem wird auch und gerade im Certificate Lifecycle Management die Krypto-Agilität immer wichtiger, unter anderem weil in den kommenden Jahren auf Post-Quanten-Kryptografie umgestellt werden muss. Dieser Vortrag geht auf die aktuellen Herausforderungen im Certificate Lifecycle Management ein und stellt Lösungen vor.
