Since then and through open tenders, Oberthur Technologies has supplied quality e-covers to the Government of the Philippines. The Philippine Passport is compliant with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) requirements and is equipped with a tamper-proof microchip bearing the citizen’s identification and personal information. Moreover, this ePassport contains biometric features and Common Criteria certification.
